Using 3D models for GIS purposes is a very interpretive and user-friendly way of organizing documentation. Engineering drawings and spec sheets can be stored geographically within the 3D model. This makes tasks like redlining and inspection much easier. Keeping track of permits and making the information easily available for the team has never been easier.
Progress Reports
The information gathered during each site visit is a great tool for progress reports. It is good to schedule site visits after completion of major milestones within construction projects. Design amendments or RFIs are more easily communicated with an up-to-date 3D model used as a digital twin.

We have multiple lidar scanners that help create large 3D models of any construction site or building. Using the latest scanners, allows for quick processing of data and accurate results every time. This also allows for virtual walkthroughs and geo referenced 360֯ pictures from each scan location.
Machine Control
We set up and manage the usage of machine control. Excavators, dozers and graders
equipped with survey instruments are game changers in construction. They eliminate the need
for grades people and cut down on survey costs by minimizing the need for regular re-staking.
Construction layouts
We can stake-out blueprints or engineered design files. We create and fix design amendments onsite in real time. Even with how advanced technology is, there is still a need for accurate site lay outs using wooden stakes and spray paint.
Topographic as-builts
Using conventional methods with total-stations and GNSS to blend photogrammetry and
lidar scans. Easy to understand deliverables and quick turnaround. Any format available for
export. 360֯ photography, virtual walkthroughs, and 3D modeling will augment typical data sets that
can be unclear or incomplete.
